Wool WashMitt

Engineered benefits
Deep, forgiving pile
Long synthetic wool fibres swallow grit deep into the pile, away from paint.
Huge suds capacity
Carries a full panel’s worth of shampoo per dip, fewer trips to the bucket.
Glides under load
The fibre lays down and slides rather than dragging, even on dusty panels.
Soft on everything
Safe for fresh paint, ceramic coatings, PPF and delicate gloss trim.
Cuff that stays put
A snug cuff keeps the mitt seated through the whole wash.
Rinses honest
Releases trapped grit under a hose so each panel starts clean.
Application protocol
Pre-rinse the car
Hose or foam the loose dirt off first, the mitt should meet softened grime only.
Load with suds
Dunk in the wash bucket and let the pile drink a full load of shampoo.
Light, straight passes
Wipe panel by panel with no pressure; the pile does the work.
Rinse the mitt often
Rinse after every panel or two so grit leaves the pile before the next pass.

Field questions
Deep wool-style pile traps grit further from the paint surface, which is why purists prefer it for swirl-sensitive dark cars.
Machine-wash warm without softener and air dry. Softener clogs the fibre and kills its grip on suds.
Keep a separate mitt for wheels, brake dust is exactly the grit you never want near paint.
Each rinse releases the grit the pile has collected, so you never rub one panel’s dirt into the next.
When the pile mats flat or stays gritty after washing, with care, that is seasons away.
